Vintage Russian Treasure Box, Painted Country Landscape, Mural Style, Folk Art, Made in USSR

Beautiful Russian made wooden stash box with painted mural like city scape. The box opens at the rooftop, allowing for a box which is 3 inches deep.

The colors are a lively green and burnt orange, creams and browns. There seems to be a nice sheen to the painting. The paint is over a nice incised city landscape with shrubbery.

Height is approximately 9 inches and base is approximately 3.25 inches.

Great gift for the family or member appreciating their Russian roots!

I am not sure of the date of the box, however it resembles folk artwork of the 1970's. Generally, USSR marked items were created prior to 1990.
